Valves

Maintenance, servicing and repair of valves to ensure regulation, and control the flow of fluids (opening, closing, or partially obstructing passageways).

Our scope of services and what we offer includes – but is not limited to:

Overhaul in-situ of valves (except butterfly valves and non-return flaps)
Remove valve bonnet, clean all exposed parts, clean valve housing to best practical standard, performing light lapping of seat or gate, paint internal exposed areas, reassemble with new bonnet gaskets and standard gland packing.

Piping

The engineering discipline of piping systems used to efficiently transport and convey fluids and gases from one location to another. This includes the removal and refitting of pipes.

Coating

Our coatings department specialises in the layering of material deposited onto substrates (vessels) to enhance surface properties for corrosion and wear protection.

Mechanical

Our mechanical workshop specialises in the operation of various processes involved in manufacturing and production. It includes, but is not limited to: the fabrication and assembly of parts, working from drawings, sketches and verbal instruction – undertaking, where appropriate, maintenance of equipment, Liaising with suppliers and contractors on servicing and repair.

Windlass

Removal of guards and bearing caps, rig off shaft, transport to workshops, dismantle, clean, inspect and report. Reassemble and refitting on board.

Brake Bands

Removal of brake bands, relining and refitting n place.

Pumps

Centrifugal Pumps (Horizontal/Vertical)

Open pump casing (in-situ), check and replace mechanical seal, general inspection, report and close.
Disconnect pump, rig out and remove to workshop, dismantle pump, clean and inspect, reassemble and refit pump in same position.

Gear pumps

Disconnect pump, rig out and remove to workshop, dismantle pump, clean and inspect, reassemble and refit pump in same position.

Screw pumps

Disconnect pump, rig out and remove to workshop, dismantle pump, clean and inspect, reassemble and refit pump in same position.

Metalwork

A fully equipped fabrication shop operating to cut, bend, shape, install, assemble, repair and weld sheet metal according to required dimensions, specifications, blueprints and/or directions.
